Having your documents ready before you begin your application will make the process faster and smoother. Review this checklist and gather everything you need.
Income Verification
- Most recent 2 months of pay stubs (all jobs)
- Most recent 2 years of federal tax returns (Form 1040)
- Most recent 3 months of bank statements (all accounts)
- Employment verification letter from employer
- Social Security or disability benefit award letters (if applicable)
- Child support or alimony documentation (if applicable)
- Self-employment: profit & loss statement or Schedule C
Rental History
- Current landlord name, address, and phone number
- Previous landlord contact information (last 2–3 years)
- Current lease agreement (if applicable)
- Rental payment history or receipts
Additional Documentation
- DD-214 or military discharge papers (veterans only)
- Disability documentation (if requesting accessibility accommodations)
- Custody agreements or court orders (if applicable)
- Any other documentation requested by the leasing team
